This is Dedicated to the Ones I Love…Admire…Respect…

heartfelt thank you

I adore my husband and I just love my dog/child more than anything on earth and under any circumstance. Most of all, however, I am wild about, respect and admire the women in my life to extremes I can hardly describe … but I’ll try. All these women are accomplished in their own right and/or generally overburdened with responsibilities these days.

They are working endless hours and harder than ever these days to survive or succeed. Most are juggling family and career, being care-givers and making themselves available to every one of their friends whenever they’re needed, no matter what else they have on their very full plates. They have character, are, at times, “characters” and they’re loaded with common sense. You recognize the faces I’m talking about, I’m sure. They likely resemble you, in one form or another.

It never ceases to amaze me how we seem to find each other, but we do. Even more miraculous is that the relationships that seem to be the most enduring, rewarding and meaningful seem to have followed a fateful path to our doors. In this, my first blog post, I could have talked about a zillion different things to which we can all so relate, but what comes to mind is that aside from the support I have been blessed to receive from close friends outside the walls of our business and from my husband and partner, the women who have joined me in bringing this blog and unvelope.com to life this year, are utterly remarkable. I am honored and blessed to have them in my life. No matter what this first post was “supposed” to be, it is dedicated to you. Your unmatched talent in your respective areas, brilliance, character, positive energy, good humor (when needed most,) beauty (inside and out,) courage, and steadfast belief in our dream has made this blog and our site possible. You are amazing, appreciated and valued.

If, as a visitor, you’re reading this because you have a blog, own and manage a business or are living with other circumstances that are all-consuming, you know what it means to have a support system that keeps you “sane” and going on empty before you pass out from sheer exhaustion every night. I hope you have been lucky enough to be surrounded by people who love and care about you and that if not, you find each other sooner rather than later. You will, you know. You just have to recognize the faces and welcome them into your life.

  3. And you made our day! I guess we’ll have to send you a “Thank You” from Unvelope.com. No problem. It will be sealed with a heartfelt kiss and on its way momentarily :))
